  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms

Use of Services

Service Description

LinkShip provides PDF sharing services that allow you to:

  • Upload PDF files and convert them to shareable links
  • Track views and analytics for your shared PDFs
  • Set password protection and expiration dates
  • Generate QR codes for your PDF links
  • Update PDFs without changing the link

Service Availability

  • Services are provided "as is" and "as available"
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue services at any time
  • Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible

User Accounts

Account Creation

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining account security
  • You must not share your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
  • Ensuring your email address is valid and monitored
  • Complying with these Terms and all applicable laws

Storage and Billing

Storage Limits

  • LinkShip enforces a 25MB maximum file size per PDF
  • Storage limits vary by subscription plan
  • Links without an account expire after 1 hour

Subscriptions

  • Free Plan: Basic PDF sharing with limited features
  • Pro Plan: Extended storage, analytics, and advanced features
  • Lifetime Plan: One-time payment for permanent access

Payments

  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Prices are subject to change with advance notice
  • Subscription renewals are automatic unless canceled
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

Acceptable Use Policy

Permitted Uses

You may use LinkShip to:

  • Share PDF documents for personal or commercial purposes
  • Track document views and engagement
  • Distribute materials to clients, colleagues, or audiences

Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

  • Upload illegal, harmful, or abusive content
  • Share confidential information you don't have permission to distribute
  • Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights
  • Use the service to harass, threaten, or harm others
  • Bypass or circumvent usage limits or security measures
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract our services
  • Resell or redistribute our services without authorization
  • Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code within PDF files
  • Use automated systems to upload excessive files

Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

  • You retain all rights to PDFs you upload
  • You are responsible for ensuring your PDFs don't infringe third-party rights
  • You grant us a limited license to store and serve your PDFs for service delivery
  • Links are created solely for sharing purposes
  • You have the right to share, distribute, and manage your links
  • Links are subject to your subscription plan terms
  • We do not claim ownership of your uploaded PDFs

Our Intellectual Property

  • LinkShip platform, technology, and branding are our property
  • You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer our services

Privacy and Data

  • Your use of LinkShip is subject to our Privacy Policy
  • We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy
  • Uploaded PDFs are stored according to your subscription plan
  • You can request data deletion by contacting support

Third-Party Services

We use third-party services including:

  • Stripe for payment processing
  • AWS S3 for PDF storage and delivery

Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

Disclaimers and Limitations

PDF Content

  • We do not review or moderate PDF content you upload
  • We are not responsible for the accuracy of your uploaded documents
  • Shared PDFs may be accessible to anyone with the link (unless password protected)

No Warranties

LinkShip is provided WITHOUT WARRANTIES of any kind, including:

  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Accuracy or reliability
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months
  • We are not responsible for losses resulting from service interruptions
  • Force majeure events excuse our performance obligations

Termination

By You

  • You may delete your account at any time
  • Deletion is irreversible and removes all your data and uploaded PDFs
  • Active links will stop working upon account deletion

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
  • We suspect fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Required by law or legal process
  • We discontinue the service

Changes to Terms

  • We may modify these Terms at any time
  • Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date
  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance

Dispute Resolution
