FAQ

Frequently asked questions

It turns a long URL into a shorter link and reports click activity, helping you understand how the links you share perform.
A short link redirects visitors to the original destination URL. Share the short version wherever you would share the original.
Yes. Add more than one URL and Linkship creates a single short link that opens a page listing them all. Clicks are counted for each link on the page, so you can see which one people choose.
It lets you choose the readable part of the short link instead of a random code. On Linkship that is the name before the domain, such as summer-sale.linkship.org, and link pages can add sub-links such as summer-sale.linkship.org/shop. This is called a custom alias and is different from using your own domain.
It sends visitors to the destination without an advertising page or ad countdown in between. Linkship redirects straight to your URL. Ad-free redirects can still record click activity; no ads does not mean no analytics.
See click totals for each link, explore activity over time, and compare link performance within a selected date range.
Yes, on paid plans. You can point a short link at a new destination, or add, remove and relabel the links on a link page, without changing the short link you already shared.
Create a separate short link for each channel, even when they point to the same page. Compare those links to see which receives more clicks.
No. One person may click more than once, and automated activity can affect counts depending on filtering. Click totals alone do not measure unique people, signups, or purchases.
